Because of this, we are member of both the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) and the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaners Association (IKECA). Both of these organizations set the standard for professionalism in their respective industries. We are one of only two duct cleaning companies in the state of New Jersey to hold all three NADCA certifications as:

• Air Systems Cleaning Specialists (ASCS)
• Certified Ventilation System Inspectors (CVI)
• Ventilation System Mold Remediators (VSMR)

Unlike our competitors, at Clean as a Whistle, we are also professionaly ceritifed kitchen exhaust system cleaners. As one of only eight companies in New Jersey that are active members of IKECA, we hold the certification CECS (Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialist).

	Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification signifies a high level of professionalism in the HVAC cleaning industry. Contractors must demonstrate requisite knowledge of HVAC system cleaning, NADCA standards, OSHA regulations and more. By passing a rigorous certification examination, contractors demonstrate reliability and competence.
	Certified HVAC Ventilation Inspectors (CVI) undergo training based on the Environmental Protection Agency's I-BEAM program, a structured method of doing inspections, in compliance with NADCA's standards. The examination covers applicable building, standards and codes, maintenance and housekeeping programs, diagnosing problems and reporting findings.
	Ventilation System Mold Remediators (VSMR) undergo training and an examination that ensures an understanding of basic microbiological contamination, project assessment, as well as both NADCA and other industry standards. 	Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialists undergo an examination covering the Standards for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations according to the National Fire Protection Association, OSHA safety regulations, the International Mechanical Code, and International Fire Code.
